This camera is acceptable in daylight but low light situations result in grainy images. It was really remarkable. I was disppointed and returned it – other people may like the effect, however. There is much to like about this camera. The build quality is very nice and the optical ability is exceptional. I particularly liked how they fit in the hand. The controls are very logical as well. I bought this camera a few months ago. My feeling is, if you are an amateur in this, that this camera is not for you. There are so many settings I found to put things together that should not have been. I have a 35 mm gun and thought it would be as easy as it was. NO! Now I have the settings under “automatic” and let the camera decide what you need. I had occasion to contact Panasonic. Very hard to get to talk to someone. They did however, answer my questions via email. I buy a 1 gig card is really nice and get 200 photos. Theres times when I needed my external flash, but most of the time the camera was fine.
