if you want a good camera to buy Nikon D50 or Canon XT this camera will not accept my Sigma 18-125mm, Nikon 50 mm f1. 8 and Nikon Lens many generic brands, only 3 focus point of the Nikon D50 with 5 points, not iso100, not the exposure and white balance bracketing. Rating: 1 / 5
It feels cheap, too slow and lack of openness and control wheel or Shutterspeed it impossible for me to use. I sent it back I want a more professional camera. Rating: 1 / 5
Horrible camera. I’ve earned the right to say that after 35 years of photography from my education at the School of Visual Arts in New York, etc. I have owned Leica, Minolta, Pentax and Nikon 35 mm is a sistemas.Se camera system for people who want to look like professionals on the gallows, a big fancy Nikon around his neck with a bright yellow Nikon logo on the neck strap. This is an entry level camera * me *. It’s a great point and shoot camera with daylight for average people. What are those set to automatic and that is all that hacemos.En always automatic, it’s going to take great snapshots. But that’s all. The 18-55mm lens is so cheap that you can “buy-it-now” for $ 10 on eBay. Weighs as much as a cardboard tube. It has a small set of optics the diameter of your finger on it. Real garbage. Want to take macro? Forget it! There is no macro mode found in other systems. Buy a macro lens? The AF-S Nikon-compatible macro only is $ 780. That nice 60mm macro for $ 360 NOT compatible! You may not use the LCD as a viewfinder. Nikon technical support told me that this is only available in the $ 1700 model! That a property without going into a long explanation, it breaks. One of the main advantages of a digital camera is free from small holes pío.Lentes viewer cheap, no macro mode, no LCD view, terrible manual, only 6 mega pixels, no image stabilization. . . what they like at all? I returned mine after suffering for 3 weeks and bought a 10MP camera with live view, macro mode, image stabilization, professional quality optics, together with an operational manual that loco.Pero going to drive me, if you have to impress people with the iconic NIKON this is the cheapest way you can do. Leave it in “automatic” and never bothered to attempt professionals can achieve results. See the pictures sent by users of Amazon. If you think that the photos are acceptable will be happy with the D40. You do not know what you’re perdiendo.Clasificación: 1 / 5
Does this camera kit from Amazon, after reading comments from a lot of places on this camera. However, the power switch was faulty. To turn the camera had to open and close the battery compartment every time while maintaining the switch in position. The switch never worked. So it back. The return process was easy however, and have my money in a semana.Ahora I have ordered a Pentax K10D. I hope it works well. Rating: 1 / 5
The new D40 which I bought from Amazon was broken in the first month! A bug with the release button (pressing the button to take a picture only lasted about 200 Photo’s!). I have years of experience with SLR so I was pretty surprised that it broke so quickly. I am writing this review because I am angry a week at two-month trip when India and Nepal and service facilities are not really available. Do not expect Nikon to help. Buy a Canon! Rating: 1 / 5
